For more than twenty years I have specialized in:
- Transfer pricing planning
- Dispute resolution, including audit, appeal, and competent authority.
My work at the Internal Revenue Service involved negotiating the resolution of double tax cases with the tax authorities of many other countries, including Canada.
Barb is a tour de force transfer pricing/tax lawyer. Her experience with the IRS at APMA and in private practice give her a well rounded and unique perspective on APAs, MAP cases as well as transfer pricing audits. Her open and direct communication style is a breath of fresh air and makes her a pleasure to work with.

What I Enjoy
I enjoy baseball at all levels, from Little League to MLB, and follow my teams (Boston Red Sox and Washington Nationals) around the country, cheering them on whenever I can. I am also passionate about helping low income taxpayers, and have worked as a VITA volunteer for almost 30 years. I am on the board of a small nonprofit, Community Tax Aid, Inc., which provides year-round service to taxpayers who cannot afford to pay for tax assistance but who end up in challenging situations.
